The park, which will be located next to the new Owen Theater, will include a water feature, tables, chairs and umbrellas; park benches; a small stage; and flowers and trees.

In the future, it could be the site for rallies, speakers, symphony performances or small groups.

The contract was awarded to Burditt Consultants.
