Gulf Coast Regional CITYgreen Analysis
American Forests published their analysis study for the Houston Gulf Coast Region in December 2000. The report calculates the "value of nature" in the region and offers recommendations for the declining condition of the ecology.Burditt urban and community foresters conducted the field data study used in the analysis over a several month period in the Summer of 2000. Working closely with American Forests staff, the data was collected and quality checked in a fast paced effort to make the report available for presentation at the Texas Urban Forest Conference in the Fall.
