Mont Belvieu City Park
Within the baseball / softball complex "Pocket Parks", the terraced seating concept was integral to the City's commmitment to achieving a high quality and timeless project. These concrete bleachers are "sculpted" from gently sloped berms nestled around each field. The seating is covered by vibrant shade sails, and is intentionally broad, allowing for lawn chairs and typical bleacher cushions to be chosen. The berms will provide seating and shade for visitors, and important screening of the activities between fields, enhancing the playing and viewing experience. In keeping with the spirit of diverse use intended by the "Pocket Park" design, the durability and broadness of the seating creates places for people to relax while their children explore the "hill" from shady steps and broad terraces.
