Mont Belvieu City Park
The baseball and softball complexes of Mont Belvieu's new City Park were conceived as "Pocket Parks" with generous pedestrian space, playgrounds, and pavilions in the core while providing the City multiple options for league play and tournaments. This integrated, pedestrian oriented approach will open more of the park for full time, off-season use. These "Pocket Parks" are characterized by tree lined, gently bermed paths, which guide families toward central play areas, seating and pavilions. The berms subtly screen the athletic fields, and provide a raised "hill" for viewing the games from shaded terraced seating.
