| There may be those who would paint all engineers with a linear brush. You know, getting stormwater from here to there, civil drawings for site geometry, utilities, grading...well, you get the picture. And while Danny certainly has accomplished all those amazing tasks for the private and public sectors, there's also a highly creative side to him. That creative thread perhaps explains his geekish penchant for Sci-Fi computer games. A self-confessed Star Wars fan (he holds a Masters in Anthropology having written his thesis on The Evolution of The Sith) this promising professional spent the past two years on tour as a professional gaming instructor and player. He traveled this great country to big-time tournaments in major U.S. cities such as Omaha, Toledo, Tulsa, Waterloo, and Midland. Name the game, he'll tell you how to break the bank. Pick your poison, he'll wax on about the antedote. If it can be moused, digitized, or push-buttoned in any way, Danny can tell you how to match wits with the motherboard herself. Repetitive stress syndrone injuries to his 2nd and 3rd fingers have required his retirement from professional action. After reaching the top of his field, he has returned to accept new challenges in his second favorite field, design. We'll try to reign him him, but you know how these game geeks are. Danny Zirilli, P.E., received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. He also completed a Master of Engineering Degree from U of Florida in Construction Management. A licensed Professional Engineer, Danny has worked on extensive commercial projects throughout the South with one of the nation's foremost design-build corporations. Project experience includes manufacturing plants, distribution centers, medical facilities, low-temperature structures, office buildings, hotels and resorts, parking structures and institutional facilities.
