| Troubled since her youth, and having been forced to ride in the front seat with her mother in a yellow '68 Baracuda, Wanda seeks harmony and serenity in this home away from home. In fact, she loves her work so much that only twice in twelve years has she agreed to take home a paycheck. The first being after we borrowed her Honda CRV (Collins Recreational Vehicle) for our annual November two week trip to Terlingua for the International Chili Cookoff. That was a mistake. Anyway, the second time was upon learning her resume would be on this site. We hope she's not thinking of making a habit out of this accepting her paycheck thing. Wanda Collins joined Burditt in 1993 after a decade in the legal profession. Named Vice President in 2003, Wanda became licensed by the State Bar of Texas, Legal Assistant Division, in 1984. Prior to joining Burditt, she worked for two Texas State Representatives and her expertise in many areas of the legal field are comprehensive.
Wanda oversees all contractual matters, real estate closings, courthouse document research, timber sale contract negotiations, and is integral to the success of Burditt. She acts as a liason to all clients and provides much of the strategy for property tax renderings and applications. |
